WELL CONTROL

CTQ designs and manufactures “Well Safety and Control Panels” (TSCP and WHCP in English), which are fully integrated hydraulic control systems for the operation of valves located at the wellhead (“Christmas Tree”) of crude oil and associated gas production wells, such as:

  • “Storm” or “Bottom” Valve, also known as Down Hole Valve (DHV) or Surface Controlled Subsurface Safety Valve (SCSSV).
  • Master Safety Valve, also known as “Master Valve” (MV) or Surface Safety Valve (SSV).
  • Wing Valve or Production Valve, also known as Wing Valve (WV).

According to the operating conditions of each well or wellhead system, the design of these TSCP/WHCP’s is highly variable and must be adjusted to the specific needs of each location.

There are many available options for the design and manufacturing of these Panels, such as:

  • Special Working Pressure Levels
  • Pneumatic-Hydraulic Control
  • Electronic-Hydraulic Control or
  • Purely Hydraulic Control

As well as particular adaptations for:

  • By-Pass sections
  • Choke Valve Control
  • Maintenance
  • Operation of Water Injection Systems
  • Link to Digital Control Systems, etc.

Additionally, we have the WASP® Family of PREFABRICATED products in “Self-Contained Unit” (SCU) format for isolated solutions that require:

  • Control of one or two Surface Valves (WV, MV/SSV)
  • Control of Surface and Subsurface Valves (WV + MV/SSV + DHV/SCSSV)
  • Manual Pumps
  • Electro-Hydraulic Pumps with Incorporated Solar Power Systems
  • Digital Monitoring of Well Pressure Behavior
  • Incorporación a Sistemas de Supervisión SCADA vía Protocolo Modbus RTU o TCP/IP
  • Integration into 3G / 4G / 5G Networks

Remote Control Option for Opening and Closing Surface Valves (in automated models) via “Tablet” or Mobile Phone, either locally (WiFi Network) or remotely (Cellular Network).

The Black WASP is a fully integrated, anti-theft wellhead valve control system that uses an external hydraulic power source combined with an internal set of high/low-pressure sensors, fire detection, and local shutdown.

The Digger WASP is a fully integrated, anti-theft wellhead valve control system with an autonomous electro-hydraulic power source and high/low-pressure sensor, fire detection, and local shutdown.

The Sand WASP is a fully integrated, anti-theft wellhead valve control system with an autonomous hydraulic power source and high/low-pressure sensors, fire detection, and local shutdown.

The Blue Wing WASP is an intelligent system with a 10” color multilingual user interface for intuitive shutdown diagnostics and simple configuration.

The Yellow WASP is an intelligent system with a 2.2” MonoLCD multilingual user interface for intuitive shutdown diagnostics and simple configuration.

The Mason WASP is a fully integrated open control system for wellhead valves, with an autonomous hydraulic power source, adjustable high/low-pressure sensors, fire detection, and local shutdown.
